I'm an artist from Glasgow, Scotland. I grew up loving all things geek, specifically Star Wars and Jurassic Park. These loves have stayed with me all my life but other things have crept in too like Marvel, Ghostbusters and The Muppets. If I take the time to draw it, chances are, its because I've loved it.
My main influence is the works of Drew Struzan and John Alvin. There can't be anyone who loves cinema or geek culture who doesn't know these guys. I love the artistry of their poster work. It was more than inspiring. As the culture around movie posters changed and they became lazy photoshop efforts, I found myself pulled towards creating my own alternative movie posters in order to do my bit to keep the art form alive. I hope I've succeeded.
