Star Wars Rebels is, for me, one of the finest pieces of Star Wars media out there. The characters and the story really expanded the universe in a way that was new but still felt grounded in what we know. Even the known characters like Vader, Palpatine etc where all so well written. One of the best parts was bringing Thrawn into canon too. I'll never tire of Rebels, and I wanted to do a piece that expressed that.
